Springfield Elm Hill Elementary School Renovation & Addition-Springfield, VT,
part of the $16.23 Million Springfield Schools Project
Framing Windows, Cupola, & installing Roofing at Elm Hill Elementary -taken in the fall of 2007 prior to renovation
and addition construction getting underway.
This project includes extensive site work, three additions totaling 9,000 sf and comprehensive 16,000 sf renovation to existing school. Site work will include all new drainage, parking lots, paving, landscaping.
There will be three additions- one to house the music and arts room and library/media center. Second addition will house Guidance and administrative, nurses office, occupational and physical therapy rooms. Third addition is a new front entrance will include secure vestibule, new physical education office and storage space.The multi-purpose room will be completely renovated with a new wood gym floor. Kitchen also will undergo renovation to include new kitchen equipment. Rest of building will receive new heating, lighting, ventilation, and all new finishes. The existing building will be completely abated of all hazardous materials including lead and asbestos. New plumbing/fixtures will be installed in all bathrooms. Exterior work will include a new pitched shingle roof and new masonry and Hardiplank façade on certain elevations.

Springfield Union Street Elementary School Renovation & Addition-Springfield, VT
Setting Steel at Union Street Elementary -taken in the fall of 2007 prior to renovation
and addition construction getting underway.
This project includes extensive site work, comprehensive 21,000 sf renovation to existing school and a 15,000 sf addition. Site work will include new utilities, new drainage, newly paved parking lots and drop-off areas and landscaping. Renovation work will include new plumbing and HVAC, all new electrical, complete refurbishing of the existing interior space to include eight classrooms, administration, multi-purpose room and stage, mental health, nurse’s office, behavioral planning, teachers planning.
The 15,000 sf addition includes new art/music classroom with acoustical practice rooms and storage; new media center; new occupational/physical therapy space; new tech computer lab; teachers’ planning space, six new classrooms and a new elevator. Also included in this project is a new shingled gable roof, new masonry and hardy-plank exterior curtain wall, new energy efficient windows and insulation, new doors and hardware and new interior millwork and casework.

New stone walkway being installed at Huse House as part of the campus-wide comprehensive landscaping renovation project
This project involves the renovation of the historic Kilton House (1830) and Huse House (1840). Kilton House includes a faculty apartment and a dormitory wing with nine student rooms. Huse House currently contains one faculty apartment and Student Health Center. The renovations in the Kilton apartment include a complete gut, insulation, new electrical and fire alarm wiring, new heating system, replacement windows and finishes for the faculty apartment. The dormitory will receive a new boiler, painting in the public areas and limited fire alarm wiring. The entire building receives a new sprinkler system. All wood surfaced on the exterior of Kilton will be painted. The Huse House renovation includes new interior painting, new radiator enclosures, new replacement windows, refinished floors and bathroom fixture upgrades. Exterior improvements will include restoring period shutters, restoring brickwork, and resetting granite steps.

Somersworth Police Headquarters- Somersworth, NH

New construction of a 13,000 sf police headquarters facility and comprehensive site improvements to include an impound area. Facility will be a two-story building with brick façade, will contain two cells and a holding area, booking area, interview room, dispatch, armory, two state-of-the-art sally ports, evidence storage and processing, surveillance and security system, and emergency generator. Will house the City’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC).

Project consists of construction of a 2300 sf addition to include new community meeting room and handicapped accessible bathrooms.
This project includes new construction of a stand alone 20,000 square foot health care facility to include twenty examination rooms and twenty offices as this is also a teaching hospital for UMASS Medical School. Associated sitework includes a new electrical service, new entrance, MediFlight Helicopter landing pad, 85 new parking spaces for patients and staff and site landscaping. Demolition of existing facility to take place once new is constructed. The project is being constructed to meet LEED certification.

Project consists of a comprehensive renovation to the Annex Building at Nantucket Memorial Airport, New England's busiest airport in the summer month of July. Project includes renovations to relocate ticketing, baggage, ramps and passenger waiting area for Cape Air, Island Air and Nantucket Shuttle Airlines arrivals and departures. The renovation makes way for the $20 Million Main Terminal Building Project.

Project consists of complete renovation of Basketville Warehouse on Birge Street into 29 apartments and office space, and renovation of existing Worden House units (7 SRO) on Western Avenue.

Project consists of new construction of 40 unit residential development. 10 of the 40 will be constructed for the 40B State lottery for affordable housing. The remaining 30 will be sold at market value. Homes include two story 2400 sf, three bedrooms with office, 2.5 baths, with full basement and associated sitework. Whole project is designed as a village with community building, pool, tennis court, rotary with planter.

This multi-phase project will start with Phase I which includes the first of four clusters. Each cluster is comprised of three structures including the Barn containing 8 living units and a five stall garage, the Farmhouse containing 2 living units and the Carriage Shed which houses five parking stalls. Each living unit is approximately 1,500 square feet and will be built in the townhouse/condominium style. This Phase component includes site-work to construct the necessary length of site access for the first cluster and installation of the necessary utilities. All utilities will be installed below grade.
