Phase 1 of the "Rockingham VT Town Hall/Theater Restoration Project" began a major restoration of the "Falls Cinema" located within the landmark, 77 year-old Town Hall building in Bellows Falls.

This initial phase of work included installation of a new electrical service, air conditioning and automatic sprinkler and fire alarm systems. Furthermore, the original plaster ceiling, walls, proscenium and existing windows were restored. Phase I was completed with installation of appropriate period lighting and operable sidewall curtains.

The Phase 2 project includes completion of the theater which involves significant sound and lighting wiring and equipment installations, balcony restoration/relocation of the projection booth, theater floor restoration, new theater seating and completion of millwork and finishes for the inner lobby at the back of house. Furthermore, Phase 2 includes a new heating system for the Town Hall and Theater spaces, some degree of floor refinishing/replacement and wall finishing in the office spaces and reworking existing electrical panels and circuit backfeeding to new service installed in Phase 1. The Phase 2 project includes a three-stop elevator at stage left.
