This Major Residential Development (MRD) Project on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts consists of 24 duplex houses, or 48 units, and a meeting house with a pool to be shared by all of the units' owners. The project is designed as a "village concept" with a central triangular green for gathering outdoors and a meeting house for indoor gatherings. Each unit consists of approximately 1816 square feet of living space. Some of the units are 3 stories while some are 2 stories and each has a full basement.
The total project square footage is approximately 90,700 square feet. The project includes Baybutt Construction Corporation overseeing all permitting and construction including all of the site development of this 4 acre parcel. On an island where housing supply is extremely tight these units will be priced for mid income owners and nearly all have been sold prior to construction.
